There Is Something New
And speaking of videos, just this week, I asked one of my OJT students from ABS-CBN (she's Pym) to have Cass for few sec of video for my copy. And she did actually. I just felt more than better. :)
I uploaded it to YouTube but it didn't seem to work here in my blog when I tried to embed it. Maybe because it's in ASF format. So I just decided to get the iframe codes in here just like what I did with my pics from Flickr.
I hope to get more videos of my pbb. Ok, we have our own obsession so mind yours. I'm just so glad this is mine. :)

Was it a BIG BIG Week
3 Dec
We started our hands-on preparation for the upcoming Philippine National Skills Competition hosted by our school. It was a Saturday, our butts should be resting, but we were just so willing to do the job. Maybe because we missed doing it. MITc has been organizing and hosting events, and this one is kind of a BIG event for this year. In fact I considered it as our BIGGEST event, not to mention the reality that we were only 6 and we had to move like a hundred PCs and rearrange it for the competition. Our BIG BIG 'thank you' to our SAs, janitors, and other students who happened to be just loitering in the lobby and helped us out for that matter. We planned to work then til midnight or til we finish everything, and we thought we could end the day wasted but accomplished and we did actually, even if a BIG monster sneaked out and gave us a big throw of her authority which, by the way, I believed she put way beyond the top of her horrid head. Now I don't want to elaborate on that. Just a waste of time. And so it was midnight and we just put our chagrin to our blissful dinner at North Park and coffee at Starbucks 6750 til 2ish.
5 Dec
The day before the BIG event. I went half day to office because I alloted my morning to finally get my non-pro driver's license in San Juan. And that's one BIG accomplishment for me. I was with my dad (thank God I was with him) for everything was pressed so quickly, and I mean almost everything. :)
Then in the afternoon I joined our group and set-up everything for the next day. We didn't have enough workforce so all of us had been working so multitaskingly. Was it another BIG accomplishment for us. We were able to make the network in our lecture room run. hehehe. I know that would be a piece of cake for network guys but that's precisely my point, it wasn't our forte but nevertheless we made it. And take note, we were the ones who crimped some network cables. hehehe. It was 4ish of Dec 6 when we all have gone home, and the event is at 8am.
6-8 Dec
The event proper. First day was kind of toxic because it was the first time that everything we set-up was used, the network, the printers, the PCs and all. It was past lunch when all things were stabilized. And we had dress codes for the 3-day event! Blue, red, and green, respectively. Those three days were really so tiring because we always went home late. We couldn't leave until the organizers were done with their thing. And on the last day, or night I should say, after we put everything back to normal and all, we decided to call a celebration! We went to Music 21 and sing til dawn!
Yeah, that's the kind of energy worth missing with my officemates. We actually considered the rest of our preparation as our bonding moments. While we were cimpring cables, pulling tables, and all, we had enough time to update ourselves, clarify things, and put it back to almost on a normal state. How I treasured those days.
9 Dec
After office, my 2 friends and I went to SM Makati to just sort of relax ourselves. I actually get relaxed when I'm in the mall. hehehe. After our dinner, we tried catching up with the last full show of Just Like Heaven in G4. We were like 10 mins late though. And I thought I fell in love with it. I don't know. Maybe I'm kind of emotional lately that's why I find it that way.
10 Dec
Another BIG day for me! Finally, I get rid of 'Catcher in the Rye'! For whatever reason, everytime I read each chapter of that book, I feel like I'm in emotional and spiritual turmoil, because the book's about that. It really tests the reader's human behavior. It's kind of flat though and the highlights just surfaced almost at the latter part but there's a lot of lessons to learn. It was about 2ish when we went to Paco Park for an outreach program initiated by Management Society of MITc (MSM), a stud org. I decided to join their charity because it's actually my first time to do it and I told myself to make the most of my time for this year. And we really enjoyed it a lot. There were about 20 kids and it's so nice to with them. You really wouldn't know how much you can make them happy even in the smallest and oldest stuff you had until you give it to them. It was an awesome experience. You laugh with them, eat with them, play with them, shout with them. Sometimes you couldn't even help but to do what they want you to do, just to make them happy. It was raining though but it didn't mess up the program that much. (More pictures at http://www.flickr.com/photos/delpoy/)
After that, almost 6ish, Ms. Marianne A. (MSM Adviser), Reggie, Ella, Pym, Sixto and Kuya Rogie went to Eva Marie in Makati Ave to have dinner and a couple of beer. At first we were just chit chatting and singing until we noticed that it's past 9pm. It's Pinoy Big Brother Big Night! So we watched it there until midnight. Boy, was it so so BIG! I mean the PBB. It's really phenomenal. It gave reality tv show a different perspective. Or should I say, that's the real reality-based tv show. It's one of the grandest shows I've ever seen on TV. And I bet even the Kapusos have dialed to PBB Big Night.Right after PBB, we went home and had a sound sleep. I woke up almost 12 noon of Sunday.

Words of Wisdom
People come and go our lives, sometimes as fast as the ticking of the clock, sometimes as passive as the movement of traffic on the hiway. And there are some whom we choose to keep, and others we choose to throw, or I mean, to push just a little bit, while he's standing by the abyss. Hehehe. But the thing is, we have the power of choice. We can always choose to be happy. At times we feel low, we feel bad about ourselves, or in my case, my excitement is pulling my impatience on, but those are some of the moments that makes us human, and clinging unto Him with all our hearts and minds, and I mean all, that makes us his Son. So if someone tries to pin you down, don't bother. Let them suffer the consequences they bring to themselves.
I've been through a lot of struggles. Hay...napaisip tuloy ako...:) There are times when people even dictate who I am or what I should be. And when it gets into my nerve, I'm starting to fold up to my last piece. But hey, I'm here again, still as cheerful. Truly, I can feel that God is working into my life. For so many times I have surrendered my life to Him, and how many times did I still fall. But for my 6 falling off, I see to it that I stand up 7. =)
Let Him be in control of everything. Can't wait to see how good day will this be.

My Friend Goes to Dubai
Yesterday, our friend Naida left for Dubai. She knows we're going miss her so much. Before she left, we had coffee in SB The Big Dome together with other COF last Monday night. Then Wednesday, we went to their place in Santolan, Pasig and had our last dinner with her.
Uhm...let me think...what would I really miss with this girl?
- Badminton
I think we'll never play badminton again. :( Because she used to prepare our food everytime we play on Sundays. - SMS
Her sweet, inspiring text messages. - Hair
Not so much. :)
Well...I guess almost everything.
We love this girl. She's a strong, positive, determined, and a straightforward person, and a caring, loyal, and loving friend. I hope to see her someday soon. Til then my friend...

There Are Some Things You Simply Can't Ignore
- The phone keeps on ringing. You hear it from afar. You run your breath to pick it up only to find out there's someone sitting right next to it and pretending to hear nothing. I mean, come on, if you can use the phone to call someone, then why can you not answer it?!?
- I eat heavy breakfast almost everyday and even so, I still get hungry upon arriving in the office. So what I'll do is to simply eat, again. I just can't ignore my own growl. And I love to eat quite a lot even if it doesn't show.
- My officemate right next to me is into his iPod thing and I was able to hear Jessica Zafra and another Gay icon who's into gay lingo. I couldn't help but to laugh really hard. The odd thing about it is that it's been like weeks since my officemate take a cold-shoulder on me and there I was, laughing with his personal trip. I enjoyed it though. Hehehe.
- Our internet had been down for a couple of days and I kept wondering what the hell happened with ISP provider and took them so long to fix the prob.
- The spirit of Christmas is almost everywhere except in the office. And you can see it from our christmas tree.
- I was on my up to The Peak Tower in Makati this lunch and by the elevator was I biblical quote of the day which says "If you hear God's voice, harden not your heart." - Ps. 95:7 How could I let it pass. In fact, I'm excited to hear Him.
- I am about to get ready now for my class discussion later, and I can't find my book. Sshh! Just when you needed it most.

Harry Potter 4, Constantine Maroulis, and a lot more!
The long wait is finally over. My friends and I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on its first day of showing in Greenbelt 3. We almost lost our seats, and ask me why...(ok, thank you)...my friend who made the online reservation only got the reservation code 2 hours prior to showing and we were on our way to the mall. And not only that, she told us earlier that she forgot her password on the online reservation. But we didn't panic of course, since she still has few hours to retrieve it before we crack her bones. Hehe joke lang.I haven't read any Potter books, but those who do said that there are some things not translated on the flick. There should've been a more exciting scenes on the maze, they said, and the nosy reporter has a much more silly acts on the book than on the film. As for me, I thought this time the movie is kind of matured. Or maybe I'm the one being childish. hehehe.
It's past 12mn when the film ended and it's one of our friends' birthday (Nov. 17). After all the greetings, we're supposed to stay a bit longer and have coffee and chat but we needed to go home asap to catch up for our sound sleep and get "normal" for our medical exam morning of that day.
Come Thursday morning, we had our medical exam. As usual, I had a lot of side comments on the clinic. I feel like they are all robots and everything they said is recorded. Maybe that's what they have been doing for many years now. But hell, it's not a good practice just so they know. Especially when I was on the physical exam room, I don't find our physical exam such an "exam". Well yeah, she let us pull our undies down and all, but she didn't even touch that "thing" you know. Don't get me wrong! This was my second time to have a physical exam and I think it is but proper for the doctor to do touch your "thing" to find out herself if there's something wrong with it or not. And she did nothing. She just asked us and how easy was it to say YES or NO.
Anyway after that, Reggie and I went to Robinson's Place for lunch. And while he was on his way to Makati to meet another friend, I stayed at Starbucks for a while until 2ish before going to PICC for our graduation. After the graduation, my boss and I, and 2 other co-faculty, went to Greenbelt 3 for dinner.
After we have eaten, I was supposed to go home and thought that I need to sleep early even if I know that Constantine Maroulis will be there at the park come 8pm. It's almost 8pm though and while we were walking down the ground floor, I thought of staying and hear the rocker's voice for a while. Since I don't have anyone to stay with me as my co-faculty wanted to go home already, I just told myself that if I'll see someone I know there, I'll stay, otherwise, go home and sleep. And when I was about to get a cab, I saw my two friends! Kuya Ahlet and Ate She and they are on there way to watch Constantine! And so I stayed.
After waiting for few more minutes, with our sweat all over, the big crowd started to scream as Constantine Maroulis sings. He is such a great performer. I like him better than Bo. I think he was overwhelmed too. He kept on saying how beautiful manila is as well as the people. And the sosyalistas and fashionistas were really losing their breath! I really like that scene, I mean, for a while they have lost their poise and didn't mind their sweat that at times gets into my eyes. True! But Constantine really rocks! And the Ayalas too! They are so clever to bring Constantine in town to light the Christmas tree in Ayala and pull the crowd on their place. I wish someday they could also invite Vonzell and Anwar for a free concert. Nah, that would be too much.

Full Up Friday
Yesterday we already received half of our 13th month along with our half-month pay. And so that night, my friends and I ate at Meylin's Jupiter and we ate pata tim and halaan. After that, we went to Music 21 and stayed there for two hours.
And now I need to save. Gotta pay some bills. :)

Honesty and Positivity
I must admit that it is not easy for me to keep it. As a matter of fact, as I am writing this, I myself almost lost another plus sign today but again, as I will forever be grateful, God is working on my life that in His mysterious ways He was helping me carry my every day with positivity in mind. Prayer is my best weapon. If I feel like someone hit my sensitivity, I secretly pause for a while and offer a short prayer for myself and for the person whom I think has hurt me. Sometimes, I just utter His name and that's enough for me to become happy again. Another thing I do is to think of happy moments with my true friends and families, or simply with ordinary but true people. That way, I am trying not to give a thought anymore on what I hear and what I see that might just affect me.
Also, when I receive some comments or reactions from other people who are obviously doing such acts to shame me or just wanting to get everybody's attention (we call them "exhibionist" by the way), I ask myself, is this person has reputation for truth or lies? Is he credible to do such criticism? And if I found out the real answer, I'm telling you, that'll suddenly give me a big sarcastic smile on my face and in my mind I say "this person is so pathetic." hehehe. Nah, that last part wasn't true. But at least, you will realize that you shouldn't be affected by exhibionist. And if they continue to make noise, always remember that empty can is always loud. Innit? :)
But of course, you have to be honest to yourself. If you believe that you are not doing anything wrong, then don't be bothered nor interrupted by these noisy little cans who aims to attract everybody's attention and sadly fail in the end for not getting one.
If you have the guts to confront the person, if you think he's already stepping on your tail or if you see his hands already in position to pin you down like a nail, then do confront him. And I think I can do that. But first I make sure that my brain's with proper light and my heart's pumping well before I even say a word, or else I will end up being the bad cop.
Well, that's it for my day. I guess we should still live with the rule that says "do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you." (,")
Know Thyself. God speed.

Our Sunday Badminton Session
Food and drinks are on a "toka-toka" basis. Reggie and I are in-charge of water, rice and utensils, while Naida is ever in-charge of food and her viands never, as in, never fail to satisfy us. She has been so generous to wake up early in the morning and prepare our ulam every Sunday. That is, with the help of her mom. =) Erwin, on the other hand, take charge in bringing softdrinks. Most of the time, we bring extra food for snack and as energizers, like banana and other fruits. It really "recharges" you after every exhausting set of game.
We usually bring in food good enough for more than 5 people and so there are some other friends of ours who share the food. It also happen whereby we met new people because of our baon. According to our friend Erwin, that's what's enjoying in Badminton Arena (the name of the badminton place). You can share food and games with anyone in the court regardless and I personally like it. You gain more friends, you enjoy being with your old friends, and sweat your body out. How can I be more happy on a Sunday? Of course we don't want to miss Sunday mass that's why we used to wake up early morning, around 7ish, to prepare for 8am mass.
And just this Sunday, I brought digicam to capture some funny moments. (,")
Here are some:

Erwin, Reggie, and Naida

Jane, Ek, Dan, and Joan

Huhuhu...see that red mark on my right cheek? I got a strong hit with the shuttle cock. :(

Celebrating Eid Al-Fitr in Divisoria
So from Bulacan, they met me in Tutuban. I was surprised to see my dad and two pamangkins with them. You know Divisoria, not a good place for kids. It was lunch time and we decided to eat at Max's Tutuban. My good friend Reggie saved me from our bills when he paid our lunch, sort of his treat for my family.
After that we went on to 168. It was not surprising to see a lot of people there because you know, most of the busy people, once had the opportunity to shop-til-you-drop on a holiday, always go to a place where they could buy more for less. So there you go. I bought my sister a pair of glittering sandals, a frosted white teeny watch, a long necklace ( I don't know how you call it) with gems of different sizes and on shades of green and brown, while I got another watch for my little bro and a pair of sandals for my dad. Oh and three sun glasses too.
After that, I brought them in Gateway Cubao. It was their first time to go there and first time to ride the LRT2. =) It was almost 3:00 pm and so we had our snack at Gonuts Donuts.
My nephew JM (7 y/o) ,when we were still in 168, wants me to buy him pellet gun but we refused that could hurt other kids. But he does not want to go home without having something so he just went to the arcade and play.
After they went home, Reggie and I went to Megamall to meet Sol, his friend from UK to pickup some pasalubong from Jayde who is in UK. I love what Jayde gave me! I cute little pale of White Choco Malteser! Hhmmm...yumyum!
Hay, finally we head home 8ish. It was indeed a long Friday but I enjoyed it very much. I never had that bonding moment with my family before.
Oh and by the way, while we were in Divisoria, I saw my co-faculty making "barat" with the vendors there. hehehe. I saw Ma'am Marianne and Sir JX, and also Pam with her mom. My two COF were also there, Erlie and Naida, but didn't have the chance to meet them.

Spending Halloween Vacation
Last 2004, I spent my halloween vacation in Ma. Aurora, Aurora Province. How I love that place! We welcomed All Saint's Day's sunrise by the beach and grabe, how amazing our God is to have blessed our place with such amazing nature. I can still remember, we waited for the fishermen to make daong and help them pull their nets full of fishes! And after that we went to this hanging bridge where you can see the undercurrent between the lake and the sea. I wish I could go back there some time again. Maybe when Ate Cash and Kuya Isa take another vacation in the Philippines.
This year, my halloween wasn't that exciting though. I spent it in my hometown (Sta. Maria, Bulacan). But I miss my family and I enjoyed that moment I spent with them yesterday. We had a nice chitchat, updating each other, telling plans and all. And my nephews and nieces are so kukulit! Kids are so nakakatuwa talaga! I love their being innocent yet so intuitive learning new things, how spontaneous and smart they are with what they observe, and you will just laugh with their kiddie jokes. Hay...
I also missed my mom's food kaya I had a nice lunch and dinner with the ginisang cabbage and grilled liempo she cooked for us.
I hope the next time I go home, we'll all be like that, all complete, eating lunch together, making noise with our laughs and shouts. And I hope the next time we will have this get-together, I'm ready to share with them my surprise, if God permits. Now I'm really getting to excited about it. Let's hope and see...

Boredom Part 2
But I don't know. I still feel so low. But headache is just the same, whether you got it because of overwork or just doing nothing at all, the pain is very much similar. Oh wait...why don't I trace where my boredom starts...
1. My Work
Yeah I guess so. I don't feel like working anymore, though I still have my concern with my classes. But the "other" work aside from teaching load, nah. I just had enough I guess.
2. The People
Oh! Maybe the people...yes...the people...the phonies. I know I can live without them. But I just couldn't stand what the heck is happening now. Dog eat dog is getting obvious. I wish I could do something at least, for myself. Pero konting tiis na lang delpoy...
3. The Place
Maybe...maybe not...or should I say yes it is. No need to explain.
4. Me and Myself
I guess it's really me. My heart's flying somewhere else. I'm excited to leave but I hope I can ease out as smoothly as possible. How I wish.
I don't want to get bored anymore. Sometimes there are so many things playing on my mind, good and bad and when I could not help it anymore, I'd give in to what is not so right to do. You see, my boredom just makes me a worse sinner.
Pero buti na lang, my friend Naida was able to read my blog and that gave me a smile, especially when she felt what I am writing here. Thanks friend. You're a one-in-a-million.
Wishing a good day tomorrow. Til then.

I'm Writing out of my Boredom
Can you imagine how someone is being occupied with vast emptiness? That's what I feel now. Or at least, the idea of being on that state. Well I guess, I have to be thankful though because it's my boredom that made me write my blog again.
And I guess my muscle pains, sprains and all add to my inactiveness today. I played badminton every Sunday with my friends and yesterday was not a good play for me because I sprained by left heel.
Oh well, gotta go back to work...or should I say to nothing.

My New Haircut
I thought this time, with my short hair, I can save more time and money. But it's almost just the same. And sometimes, it's even more time-consuming! I'm using hair wax now instead of cream and it would take me like 2 sachets of shampoo before I can get that off my hair. Haay, the price of hair fashion.

Fantastic 4 Rules!
Anyways, we still had a nice seat, at the center.
I love Fantastic 4! At first I find Ioan Gruffuds a bit old for Jessica Alba, but later on, their love story made them clicked. And Chris Evans was really really funny. He loves practical jokes. I think if I'll be struck by cosmic rays, I will acquire his special power. But I don't like grandstand so definitely my power wouldn't be that displayed. But I love pranks and practical jokes. hehehe. Though I was looking for more adventure, so far Fantastic 4 was more than satisfying. And now I keep asking for more...
I can't really wait to see part 2! Oh no, can somebody tell me it won't be released in 4 or so years.
By the way, I jumped to Mitzi's page a while ago which reminded me to say here that I also had my hair cut last Monday. A very short one. The reason I made this this short was because I'm on a tight budget. I guess my next hair cut would be on December. hehehe.
Go watch Fantastic 4! Don't expect too too too much though. Just enjoy it. :)

By Request and A Bit Trivia
Trivia trivia: I was named Bong (or Bong-Bong) after Bong-Bong Marcos. It was still Marcos' regime when I was a baby and I think the then cute child Bong-Bong Marcos used to appear on public tv with his dad, and my mom thought Bong was cute. Meanwhile, my brother was named "Jon-Jon" after the late Jon-Jon Hernandez and my sister "Lot-Lot" after Lot-Lot de Leon...hehe don't laugh...it's true...hehe. My ate was responsible for the names of our 2 younger brothers. She named our late younger brother "Michael" after Knight Rider's Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff), her crush during that time, while she named my youngest brother Kenneth Paul with a nickname KP from Kaypee shoes (still remember that brand? :D ). Poor brother....hehehe.
Oh and by the way, thanks again to Mitzi. I got the Subscription thing from her blog.

Looking Forward for the Next Half
As for me, instead of thinking what made me bleed and blithe, I am more excited to what the rest of year has in stored for me (and some for you too!).
Special Events:
- My godfathership (the word please?) to my barkada's baby (July)
- Reunion of our barkada (they still don't know about this yet!); one from US and one the other one from other place. (July)
- My taking up of Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) (August)
Flicks/TVs:
- Smallville Season 5! (Woooohoooo!!!! This one's really exciting! That is, if you're updated. And I am!!!! Yippeeeeee!!!)
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
I guess that is just what I know for now. This one might be updated from time and time when something new hits my mind.

Heavy Saturday
Fortunately, my brother was there pala in the mall so we met and have some chit chat. I was with Mae and Merpha, my PNU classmates and we were supposed to watch La Visa Loca sana but we postponed it instead because I met my kuya nga, with his wife's family. After some window shopping, we bought some Go Nuts Donuts. I like their new donut, the Candy Confetti.
But it's almost dinner na so her wife's family decided to have dinner at Dampa! Yipeee!!! And even if it was raining that time, we all craved for alimango and other sea foods kaya tuoly pa din. :) And syempre, we had a very heavy dinner. Yum Yum.....

Summer Achiever!
And of course, I squeezed in some "other" matters to accomplish aside from my summer class since it was my only time to do it. My summer class was so so tiring. Imagine, we finished two subjects that's usually offered on a semestral basis, on one month! But everything was worthwhile. I could not believe it myself! I was able to accomplish a lot of things talaga. Kahit na yung simpleng pag-organize lang ng gamit ko sa bahay nung natapos ko, I was really happy. Hehe. Even small things kasi I really can't spare enough time dahil sa work. Kaya eto, I just had my first few days again at work but obviously, my mind is still on vacation! In fact I'm looking forward for my next stop. hehe. Hhmmm, let me check what I have accomplished and missed to do this summer...
High Achiever's Accomplishments:
- Summer Class
- Applied my college TOR
- Organized my stuff in my room
- Watched 13 episodes and another 6 episodes of Smalville
- Renew my passport
- Applied papers from La Salle
- Had my most memorable trip ever! (Secret trip to! hehe)
- Organized SFC Outing
- Posted testimonials to some of my friends
- Had so much time for myself! (astig to!) Hehe.
I missed to do:
- Apply my SSS ID
- Apply non-pro driver's license
- Agency day (oooppsss...my own term)
Everybody got intrigued when I posted one picture on my friendster with caption "secret trip". Why will I post daw something like that if it was supposed to be a secret? That's my own catch. I want everybody to get intrigue and they did. Hehe. I wish I could post more pictures here regarding that vacation I had.
And I also updated my Movie List and Word Bank here as part of my accomplishments. :)

Finding Neverland
Anyways, Finding Neverland is a light film. I will sound bias but I like the way Johnny Depp portray his role in all of his films. He is as versatile. It's a film for movie goers who can appreciate long conversation of actors, who judge the beauty of the film not by the colors they see but by the words they hear, not by the flashy effects but by how the story touches lives and I think that's where I came bias. :) And the last part of the film was much melting.
As the film ends and lights open, one of my friends glanced at everyone in the movie house and noticed that most of them seemed to just have cried. I don't know if it was true because I don't usually peek. All I know was that one of our friends did cry. She's beside me kasi. Hehehe. And lahat na yata ng film iniyakan nya including Vin Diesel's Triple XXX. Hahaha! Hi Jessica! (",)

Holy Week and Beyond
Well, Holy Week was in deed a moment of reflection. I haven't gone places. Just stayed at home (Paco and Bulacan). We usually do Visita Iglesia every Maundy Thursday but since my Tito was too tired to drive since he just arrived from Malaysia, I decided to go to Antipolo with my officemates. We just walk the way from Robinsons Galleria to Antipolo Church. We started walking 8pm and we reached the church almost 1am. Daming tao sobra! It's very tiring. But thinking of how God suffers when He carries the cross and everything, it made me more determined to do that panata kasi it's way beyond what He did for us. Kaya ayun, it's rewarding when you see the church na.
Then I went home to Bulacan last Saturday lunchtime. My bro invited me to join him and his barkada on their badminton session in Marilao. It's been a while since I had one, and so I joined them. We went home almost 12am na and the pain goes every part of my muscles.
I was not able to see the Salubong in the morning because I slept almost 2am of Sunday kasi kulit ng tatay ko. :) I can't sleep. I felt like I was attending the mass too early that time because of my dad's sermon. Hehe.
Then come Sunday. I left Bulacan at 3pm. Few minutes after i left home, i received a call from a friend. I was surprised because we're actually on a teleconference, with Reggie in UK, and Mike. And imagine, from Bocaue exit to MRT, I was on the phone the whole time! Bait ng friend namin na yun. :) Lagot ka sa company mo. Hehehe.

The West Side of Baguio
We were supposed to be there Monday but I told my boss that I will just catch up the following day so I could still do some office works before I leave Tuesday and Wednesday. So I was alone going there 2:00 am of Tuesday, sleepless and unprepared, got allergies due to the mfenamic acid I took to ease my body pains that almost lead to fever. Ibang klase pala if you travel alone. Adventure yes. But I feel like my body liquids are getting spoiled that any moment in the bus it might stink. So instead of bugging my seatmate, I just slept the whole travel and I did not even went out during stop overs kaya ang sakit ng pwet ko. Hehehe.
I arrived in Baguio past 7:00 am and from then on, my boss and I took the chance to revisit the Baguio spots. That's one nice thing about Baguio, for me. It always never fail to amuse me. The view, the people, everything.
And SM Baguio is different! Hehehe. Total overlooking.
And here came the event, Tuesday night at the sort of Camp John Hay Pavillion. It was a cowboy party, and everybody was really wearing western outfits, with matching horses, ropes, and guns. Hehehe. The TI IT Director noticed me and commented that I was not on a cowboy look. I just told him, this is what young cowboys wear now and he laughed. Hehehe. They fined 1K for those pasaways kasi for the benefit of their supported charity institution Children's Hour. :)
TI is so generous to their suppliers, to think that TI is the one giving them business.
After the event, we went to The Manors and have some glasses of wines with some of the big bosses of different companies. Yes I was there for my boss and you must really have the courage to introduce yourself, mingle with these people, otherwise, you feel like you wanna volatilize in a split of a sec. And I think I'm good at it. Or at least, I know the art of doing it. :) I can't live alone. And mute.
We stayed at Baguio Country Club, the same room we stayed when we went there last February 2005. Room 222 and 224.
And yes, I survived Meningo. :) They have this T-shirt nga with a print design like that of the Survivor theme but I didn't buy it. Awan ti kwarta na. :)
And of course, how can I leave Baguio without pictures? :)

(Z-pattern): The cowboy just arrived in Baguio. The cowboy smashed and sleepy. Kampay! Me and the TI President, Sir Bing. With my boss and her chubby daughter.

(From left to right): With Sir John of TI (He's very accommodating too!). With the movers and shakers; far right is Mike Petrucci, the Amkor President.

(From left to right): Of course I need to wear that cowboy attitude, with the help of my black stallion. And come oooooooonnn! I hate strawberries! I just bought 5 kls and that's it. :)
Now I'm enjoying berries with cream and milk.
Back in the office...and work is up to neck.

Iba Talaga Ka-Summer ang Kapamilya!
I'm sure those outside the family track we'll try so hard to have their own version of summer theme. Hay...I bet it would be a tough job for them. Wala naman kasing sense magkaroon ng ibang summer ang tibok ng puso. Duh?!? hehehe. O kaya iba ang Tag-Init ng K___o. Isa pang duh?!?
You can preview the Station ID at http://now.abs-cbn.com/ but the copy is not so clear. I hope you'll have the time to see it.

Whatta Week
This week has given me a lot of ups and downs, topsy-turvy events that caused me to almost gave up but then God pinched me in to pick up lessons in disguise. Sometimes that worst thing happened to us turned out to be the most funny scenario you ever had. That is, if you have learned how to forgive and forget, move on and face what is ahead. And I think I just did. Or at least, too close to that idea.
Sunday
After the afternoon mass I attended in Ermita Church, I went to Mega Mall to meet a friend. While I was waiting for her, I spent my whole time to a record bar and I got stuck to it because of MYMP's new album - Versions. And I thought it's really great. In fact I'm listening to it right now while composing this blog.
Monday
The first and worst day of my week. I got involved in a blazing argument with my officemate which made me left the office at lunchtime to cool down. It's really true pala that when you are clouded with too much anger, your sight gets murky. Good thing I wasn't holding a knife or some sharp objects because I can really hurt someone that time, or even myself. But before that day ended, my officemate apologized to me and I acknowledged her sincerity and humility. I asked her to do me a favor. I asked her to read that parable about forgiveness which I just read few weeks ago. I told her that's where I usually get enough strength and enlightment to forgive other people no matter how worse their sins could be, as God is generous enough to do the same if we are sincere to change as well. And we are Ok now. Thank God.
Tuesday
We had our operations meeting in the office. As usual, I rushed up to my class in DLSU.
Wednesday
Uhm...let me think...nothing unusual happened. An ordinary day.
Thursday
Our household was supposed to have a prayer meeting for whatever reason, my members did not even give me any response, a confirmation that they will not be able to attend. Oh well, I just prayed for them.
Friday
I still have to wait what is in store for me today. One thing is for sure, by the time I reach this part, motivation is with me already. So I got to go back to work now.
Oh, and I've been bringing some work at home this whole week. It will be my microteaching in PNU this coming Saturday so I have to prepare for that. Then bespren Reggie asked me to help him do his module that will be submitted to our teacher on Saturday. By that he meant that I shall do his entire module from scratch! Goodness. In fairness to him, he gave me naman some resources. And now I'm almost done with it. Madami nang utang sa kin yang kaibigan kong yan, kaya lagi ko na lang sinasabi sa kanya, balang araw sisingilin ko din sya. hehehe. I understand though what he's been going through right now. And that what friends are for - a trampoline when he falls (hehehe); holds the weak bridge he crosses so he could reach the other end.
Thank God for this wonderful day.

It's all about the Million Dollar Baby
This movie is full of gutts, determination, faith, trust, and love. Though I was kinda on a temporary state of poignancy after watching it, I find it more than inspiring. At least, better than watching inventions during industrial revolution or flying some big planes by a severely eccentric man, which was not appealing to me by the way. Perhaps, Aviator was not my type of film. Thinking the positive side, Di Carpio naman made his mark during his Titanic, at least.
And oh, I missed Ray. I think it was shown here weeks before Oscars so I didn't actually notice it. Hehehe. But good thing I saw this flick.
These are just my opinions. Don't curse me for this. :) Wishing us all a nice day ahead. Oh and I hope I got the spelling of this one correctly, Mo Cuishle. That's one thing you should wait in this Baby film. :)

Modern Day Hero
He came from a poor family. But his intelligence, perseverance, and luck I should say, has brought him to the peak of his career, that easy. At the age of 25, he had everything, more than the usual. He's travelled the world. His being casanova was not emphasized though he said that's part of his lucrative life then. But for someone who made a 360 degrees turn from rags to riches, would easily gave up his fame and money for us? That's almost crazy and that's what makes Dylan more than famous now, not as a young entreprenuer who owns Game Play and made name in e-commerce, but as a faithful servant of the Lord who builds houses by his bare hand through CFC's Gawad Kalinga.
When asked why he chose Philippines and why help Filipinos, he proudly said that he was amazed by our bayanihan. He even asked his friend in UK to help him find the meaning of the word but to no avail. Until he realized that bayanihan for him is being a hero to one another. He loves Banawe Rice Terraces. Why? It was built on bayanihan. Yes it was made just like the great pyramids. But our own wonder is different, he stressed. Pyramids were made out of slavery, torture, and force but ours is made through harmony, through bayanihan, through heroism.
Dylan Wilk has been building houses for our less-fortunate fellowmen in coordination with the Gawad Kalinga of Couples for Christ. While the government plants promises for these people, Dylan makes everything possible for them. He was an angel to them. He also helps people with illnesses, like that one manang who was relieved from her goiter through the generosity of Dylan.
When I attended one affair of Singles for Christ, I was able to listen to this guy. His testimonies, faith, and passion to help sounded mediocre for me then (me bad). Until I saw him on PIPOL of Channel 2.
Now he's even more inspired to help people. He just got married to a Filipina. Tito Tony Meloto's daughter (those in SFC can relate to him. :) He's been travelling across Europe to promote Gawad Kalinga and Filipinos.
On the light side, he's trying to learn our language. Small papers found all over his house. On the door, walls, kitchens to let him learn Filipino as easy. He truly loves Philippines more than his own land.
If I am not mistaken, he published a magazine about GK and the Filipinos. On the latter part of the paper, he made an article entitle Nobody is Perfect dedicated to Filipino's delight on eating balot, which he never understands. :) He said, "my stomach might still be briton, but his heart is truly filipino."
I'm proud of this guy. I'm proud of Gawad Kalinga, of Couples for Christ, of Single for Christ. I'm proud to be a part of this community.
Me, I may not be rich, but poverty is not a hindrance to anything. If the passion is within you, and God is with you, then without any doubt, you can make wonders and you can make people's lives and living more bearable. You'll be amazed yourself.
That's all for now. I gotta go back to work. I need to earn a lot pa. Hehehe. God Bless everyone!

The Phantom of the Opera Made Me Weak
I don't know with the book, but in so long as the film is concern, it's really magnificent. I must admit this is my first time to fully understand the story, and I was stunned! The more that I appreciate the song "All I Ask of You". But I like the song "The Music of the Night" better. It was the one Phantom (Gerard Butler) sang when he first brought the charming Christine into his lair. Gerard also stars in the film Tomb Raider as Angelina Jolie's leading man. Emmy Rossum (Christine) was in the film "The Day After Tomorrow". I love their voice. Galing.
I can't help but to do researches about the film, the cast, the music etc. Hahaaay! As a matter of fact, I have been asking some of my friends to buy me Phantom's mask for my birthday. Hehehe. They have one month to do so. I like it.
Now I have another flick to add on my fave list. (",)

New Look for My Blog
Anyways, I have a new section named My Database. This is inspired by my friend's (Mitzi) sort of a customized feature on her site. (I hope she already knows it by the time she read this note. *smile*).
Enjoy it as I do. God Bless everyone.

I LEFT MY HEART IN BORACAY
Of course, we maximize our time in Boracay, and I do not want to go home without getting burned! So we had our time for Boracay the whole Sunday. We did island hopping, snorkling and stroll til the the sun went down. In fact, the night never gets young. People are always up.
I love Boracay! I love the beach, the people, the food, the sceneries, and the sand that stretch to forever. And now, I love my color too! Tan as I am now, with my tattoo right above my ankle, a chinese inscription which means "with a sincere heart and sincere mind."
When I was in Boracay, time is really as different, fascinating. I feel like I am enjoying a different heat of the sun, different moon and stars that makes little waves shimmer at night. It was a season of algal bloom also, that green stuff staying at the shore, kissing the sand. It's not harmful though, since it gives life to the powder sand.
Here are some of my pics. Most of the time, I was the one holding the digicam and so I was kinda able to master taking my own pictures! Hehehe.

I love taking my pictures at this angle! I arranged these pics from the time I reach bora up to the last minute of our stay there. See how my color transformed. And I love it sobra!

Syempre super emote ako! And feeling malaki ang katawan. Hehehe.
I'm hoping to go back in Bora this summer. The more people in Bora, the better. Hehehe.
Wishing everyone a nice summer break as well. God Bless!

Baguio is Safe
We stayed in Baguio Country Club. It was cold in Baguio, around 10 degree when we were there. And yes, it's so nice to drink in Baguio! You won't even feel how drunk you are til you go to your bed to sleep. Hehehe. We had a nice time there, with the generosity of the people of TI, the president, the IT and security heads.
Syempre, dapat ding pumorma di ba! That's what i like doing there! Aside from the strawberries.

Upper Right: With my friend-officemates, at the Baguio Country Club veranda. Lowe left: Getting ready to sleep. Yes, I was not so sober na that time. :)
Now I'm starting to miss strawberries...
